We're Julia, Charles and Zeff. And we refuse to fabricate numbers.

Two of us are master's students in Data and Finance, the third has run ESG programmes inside companies. All three of us are on every client call.

Julia Nitz

Hi, I'm Julia. I've spent seven years in sustainability reporting, most of it building and running the ESG reporting function at Nemak, a global automotive manufacturer in 30-plus countries, against ESRS, IFRS S1/S2 and GRI. I've run double-materiality workshops with the C-suite and written an e-learning course on internal carbon pricing, and the lesson never changed: the framework is rarely the hard part, getting numbers that live in someone else's spreadsheet to reconcile and hold up is. That is why I'm here. I own the ESG and regulatory side, and the gaps I keep pushing us on are representing the ESG taxonomy properly, supporting IFRS, and linking the data back to the financials, because that link is where it stops being a compliance chore.

Charles Beck

Hi, I'm Charles. I grew up between France and Germany. Bachelor's in a Franco-German finance program in Saarbrücken, then an Erasmus year in Poland, a corporate-finance internship at Landesbank Saar on cross-border infrastructure deals, and I'm starting at ODDO BHF in Frankfurt this summer on the risk and credit side. I started Attera because so much finance and compliance work is really just senior people retyping figures from PDFs, and that is the part worth automating.

Zeff Cresens

Hi, I'm Zeff. I'm Belgian, on the Data for Finance master's at Albert and Mines Paris. My work is putting AI into production: at Xenon 54 I built a computer-vision system that flagged missing safety gear on a construction site from a camera feed, and this summer I'm implementing AI at B3 Partners, a private equity firm in Mechelen. Xenon taught me exactly what a model invents the second no one checks it, and that is the rule Attera runs on: every figure traces back to a page in a source document, or it doesn't ship. At Attera, I build the engine.

On our own hardware, in the EU.

Processed and stored on hardware we operate in Belgium; the local LLM runs on the same infrastructure. No third-party LLM API ever sees your documents. The full sub-processor list is on the security page, one entry long.

The harder version of the same problem.

The discipline that makes a sustainability disclosure defensible, every figure traced to its source, is the same discipline a fiduciary needs to reconcile a client's statements today. So we start where the pain and the budget already are, with accounting firms, and earn the everyday reporting work. Those same firms hold the client relationships that face the post-Omnibus CSRD wave, first reporting from 2028, so the engine that saves them hours today is the engine that grounds the data when that lands. Same grounding, same customer, a larger job. We would rather get there slowly and honestly than rush a market that is not ready to buy.

Not our first implementation.

Between us we've run AI, data and ESG projects inside real companies, with teams at Edmond de Rothschild Asset Management, Mantu, Crédit Agricole, JEMA and SwissBorg. The lesson was the same each time: good implementation is 90% of the work. So Attera is built to stand beside the people doing that work, not to replace them, and we'd rather have an open conversation about your documents than run you through a demo script.
